Every woman
wants to have beautiful and healthy hair but to reach this, they have to do a
lot. The most common problem for women’s hair is split ends. Especially after
summer or some days at the beach, women have to treat their hair.
But you
know that the best way to treat something is to prevent it. There are some
mistakes that women do most and they lead to split ends. Harsh drying and
combing, using high heat on hair, rough washing etc all these can make your
hair brittle.
You have to
take care continuously of your hair to prevent not only split ends but also
hair loss, the dull look. Here are some advices on how to prevent, treat and remove split ends.
Prevent split ends
Pay
attention to your daily routine because there are some factors you can control
besides the factors you can’t. Don’t be harsh and careless to your hair. Be
careful when you wash and dry them. Treat them in gentle way and dedicate the
right time they need.
From
the other part you can manage the factors you can’t control in this way:
- Be careful with the water you use to wash your hair. It may have too much chlorine or other chemicals that damage your hair.
- Stay away from chemicals. Why natural hair is healthy and beautiful? Because it has never been dyeing. When you color your hair, try to find natural coloring agents.
- Protect your hair from swimming pools, lake and ocean. Or after leaving, wash your hair as soon as possible.
- Also the exposure to the sun can damage your hair. As you protect your skin with special products, do the same thing for your hair.
- Shampoo and conditioner you use must be appropriate for your hair type
- Shampoo must be applied only to your scalp and conditioner should be applied only to the hair ends.
- Once or twice a month make a deep condition to your hair to nourish them.
- The best choice is to dry your hair naturally, but instead of this use a gentle comb or brush.
- While combing, focus and work most on the bottom and way up.
- Don’t use hair accessories with metallic connectors
.
Remove split ends
We talked
about how to prevent split ends but the only way to remove those you already
have, is to cut them. Don’t trust to aims that they can help to remove them.
Maybe they reduce and improve their appearance but they don’t remove them. To
remove them you can:
- Cut your hair regularly, every two months. Go to a trusted hairdresser that uses professional scissors and hair products.
- Or you can do it by yourself. Try to cut only the splits without putting in risk your look.
