Victoria’s Secret removed “Sexy little Geisha” lingerie

The newly lingerie collection “Go East” launched lately by Victoria’s Secret was removed by sale after the critics of Race and Pop Culture blog Racialicious. They said that the underwear of “Go East” was degrading Western and Asian culture. They were labeled as racist.

But we are sure that the message of this collection was completely different. The model Candice Swanepoel was wearing the “racial” outfit called “Sexy little Geisha”, a cut-out sheer mesh teddy, with obi belt and chopsticks. It was really attractive and sexy, the real purpose of the designer.

It started with the Racialicious blog and than other sites and blogs agreed and accused this Geisha role playing. “Considering the complicated story of Geishas, and using them as a sexy fantasy, seems like West is using Asian people in inappropriate way.

Since then Victoria’s Secret has removed this collection on her official page. This doesn’t mean that they agree but it’s just a choice.

Anyway there are people that think in different ways. Our opinion is that there was nothing racist on that outfit, on the contrary it was very inspiring, sexy and attractive. 

Asian women are in every men fantasy, what is so bad about that???!!!!!
