Green tea comes from China where is been used for hundred and hundred years ago. Recently green tea is spread in the West, by using it in foods, beverages and in cosmetic products. 

Green tea has important antioxidants and properties that boost our health. You know how important are antioxidants, for overall health. They protect body cells against free radicals that can damage DNA, contribute to cancer or other diseases.   

Here are some health benefits of green tea:

Drinking green tea regularly, everyday can reduce risk of heart disease and strokes. That’s because green tea has ability to lower blood cholesterol, burn harmful fat and prevent them to affect blood. It also reduces the risk of clogging blood vessels, especially in women.

Studies say that green tea has powerful properties that help to fight cancer. Due to its antioxidants, it can reduce prostate tumors and lung cancer risk. If you drink this tea everyday, you are less risked to have stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal or esophageal cancer.

Can help lower cholesterol level. It also improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol, by plummeting bad cholesterol level.
