As every seasonal change, everybody does changes in his life, in his diet, daily routine, home design or wardrobe. Stripes

Stripes are a must this season, for women and men. Vertical, diagonal or horizontal it doesn’t matter just be careful to pair them with a monochrome color not with checks or other stripes. The most used stripes colors are black and white but you can dare to try new colors. You have a lot of choices from striped dresses, to skirts, blouse, trousers or blazer. Be inspired by Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta, Balmain or Michael Kors collections.

Ruffles

To add volume to your look, wear ruffles, as flamenco style or deep frills. They were seen in different ways in Balenciaga, Gucci in dresses, skirts or blouses. Little frills are feminine but some others are exaggerated and maybe not wearable.

Black and white

Spring is a symbol of colors but this year besides other colors, are very trendy black and white combination. Two timeless colors that can be easily pair with everything, every shade or printed and pattern. These colors give you that sophisticated and elegant look.

Oriental inspiration

Geisha kimono, Asian culture elements were used by designers this season. Satin fabrics on vests or tops with wide shoulders, sock boots and those special red lips are a trend for ss 2013. Seen at Prada, Gianfranco Ferre, Lanvin etc.

Printed

Printed and pattern are always a good choice and very attractive. Most used were floral prints that suits perfect for spring, but also were used abstract prints, geometric and animal prints. This trend was seen most at Dolce & Gabbana collection, Roberto Cavalli and Gucci.

Crop tops

Crop tops are a vintage element that comes strongly this season. They look very good and not exaggerated paired with high waist pencil skirt, a very feminine look. Printed, leather, box tops or fitted shapes every women should have one in her closet.

Checkered pattern

Above stripes that are a top trend for spring summer 2013, also checks are very common. Mostly black and white but also other colors like beige, brown and nude used by Balmain, Michael Kors or Louis Vuitton.
