It’s the
first event for Katie Holmes and
stylist Jeanne Yang in presenting
Spring-Summer 2013 collection at New York
Fashion Week on Wednesday. They have been working for a long time together
but only now they decided to present at Fashion Week because they wanted that
the brand grows and expands.
The
collection was a mix of casual and stylish clothes. The line was simple with
fabrics like: silk, leather and suedes. The woman wearing prices vary from $700
to $3,000.
Katie
Holmes, 33-years old seemed a little nervous when she arrived at the Lincoln
Center ahead of her collection presentation. She was wearing black skinny pants,
a cream camisole, black leather jacket, golden heels and jewelry. Even she was
nervous she always gets the smile on her face and that’s adorable.
She was
seen working with the models, dressing them and making sure everything was
perfect.

show Katie posed up backstage with Jeanne Yang.
Their brand
“Holmes & Yang” was launched in
2009 and has been selling in Barney’s. However this is the first Fashion Week
and hope she will continue successfully.
Like the
most part of celebrities has their own fragrance, it’s been a trend to have
also their own brand like: Kardashian
sisters, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson,
Heidi Klum etc.
However we appreciate
the courage of Katie on how she managed her divorce. Now the magazines have a
lot to write about her professional live and not only about personal life.
