Wrecking
Ball the newer video of the 20 years old Miley Cyrus, has only 2 days launched
on YouTube and broke VEVO’s record for the most viewed clip. The previous
record holders were One Direction but Miley got 19 million views in first 24
hours.
There are
500.000 likes and 291.000 dislikes for this video until today and Miley could
expect the judgment for her video.
Crying and
swinging on a wrecking ball, in an exaggerated nudity, Miley had attract attention
of media and everybody, that’s what’s she is looking for, ATTENTION.
It’s clear
now that she is not Hannah Montana anymore, she totally changed the way she
looks, she wears and she behaves. The new Miley is more aggressive, rebel,
sensual but not everybody likes her.
The
song is pretty good but was it necessary that nudity?
Anyway
Miley in an interview explained that “this song is a pop ballad and if you see
my eyes I look sadder than the song itself. It was a kind of emotional
experience and believe me it was harder doing the video than the audio song”.
She
justify the idea of going naked, to express her naked emotions and really suits
the song. She uses nudity as an art not as sexual explicit.
The question comes naturally: what can we
expect on the next video?
